This is easily the best tower defense flash game I’ve played in a long time. Its alot like FF crystal defenders, you kill the monsters before they get to the end of the maze. give it a try!

I was all hyped up about this game after playing crysis (the original) until I found out it takes place in new york… Now, I got nothing personal against newyork – but WAY to many games are using it as a setting, I mean prototype, gta4, infamous, splinter cell chaos theory, legendary… THE LIST GOES ON FOREVER.

tl;dr Game companies need to look into using some other cities, preferably with different surroundings. NY is getting old.

Turns out all the iphone 4gs shipped with a broken antenna. Sadly, all the apple fanboys that purchased this will still defend apple with their lives even after such a dumb mistake. Whats worse is apple is trying to cover it up (thats a fancy word for lie) via removing all posts about it on their forums. I never did like steves business methods. Also jobs basicly stood up and lied saying “all phones have this problem” *cough!*. Read some more here.

I lost all faith in wired.com (and in humanity) when I read this article. People are claiming this website “I-Doser” can actually make kids high and its the next epidemic. What it is is really shitty techno music. But apparently Oklahoma mustang school district is banning ipods, cellphones, computers in schools over it. Its really pathetic. And honestly, the amount of concern the school district is showing over music is discusting and disgraceful to America as a country. In fact, they related this music to pink floyd (psychedelic) And wrote “You shouldn’t ever let your teenagers listen to pink floyed!” … Sigh. There is no way to express how pathetic this entire thing is.

(EDIT: I “found” myself a copy of I-doser, and the “most powerful dose”. “gates of Hades”. And sat through it. Dumbest shit ever. I have a headache now do to its stupidly high pitch sounds. Anyone who pays 200$ for this I-dose crap is a dumbshit)

I’ve been playing this game alot lately, and while the combat system is pretty fun – its rather grindy. I mean, its good but its not on my top game list. Alex Mercer (MAIN CHARACTER) Is pretty much like a god, even on hardest mode killing your enemies is easy. And you have way too much mobility. The storyboard is told in a unique way, but it isn’t unique itself. Instead of storyboard events triggering themselves, you learn more about the story via absorbing memories of the enemies you kill. Also, the city is HUGE but not very detailed. I’d say buy this, but not as top priority. The combat is insanely fun, but if your looking for work of art look elsewhere.

P.S The high intensity action parts of the game where you got multiple squads of marines, helicopters, tanks shooting at you are AWESOME.

Basically, a company called AD Astra claims they have a rocket that could travel at 139,000 miles per hour (thats 8x the top speed of the space-shuttle while leaving the atmosphere).

“It’s the most powerful plasma rocket in the world right now,” says Franklin Chang-Diaz, former NASA astronaut and CEO of Ad Astra. The company has signed an agreement with NASA to test a 200-kilowatt VASIMR engine on the International Space Station (ISS) in 2013. The engine could provide periodic boosts to the ISS, which gradually drops in altitude due to atmospheric drag. ISS boosts are currently provided by spacecraft with conventional thrusters, which consume about 7.5 tonnes of propellant per year. By cutting this amount down to 0.3 tonnes, Chang-Diaz estimates that VASIMR could save NASA millions of dollars per year.

This has to be the best non-Japanese singer singing jpop I’ve ever heard. Than again, American music is clouded by immigrants so I guess its not a big deal.

For a long time, has the pathetic debate of Windows VS Mac ensued. Fanboys rage when the other party throws a slur, or posts a joke. Honestly, I don’t consider myself a fanboy towards either. Just an educated consumer. I use both windows and linux as my primary operating systems. I have alot of experience with mac OSX but I have never leaned towards using it as my primary OS on any of my computers for a couple reasons.

I’m a gamer -
The market has always shifted towards windows when it comes to gaming. You will find 99% of titles are windows exclusive, if not on console. Apple just doesn’t have a large share in the gaming industry.

Software -
While most software has a mac counterpart, or is cross platform – creating software for windows is much more streamlined than mac. Many times after software comes out for windows initially, you will have to wait multiple weeks(to months) to get the mac equivalent.

Upgrading and Modifications -
According to the ToS you aren’t legally allowed to install mac OS on a non mac product. Additionally, many components in mac computers require specific manufacturers to upgrade. You cannot legally build a mac computer from scratch. With windows you can. You cannot modify your mac computer to the extent of a windows machine also, for reasons mentioned above. The physical computer is much more lenient running windows (or linux!).
